So I’ve been blogging every Monday for a couple months now. It’s been going way better than expected (last week’s post defending YA fiction tropes got lots of eyeballs and sparked some good discussion here & on Twitter; it’s the kind of post I might have sat on a couple years ago, but slowly I AM BECOMING BRAVE. Probably because last weekend I met an incredibly brazen gnat in the backyard and swallowed her by accident.)

Anyway, I’m deep into book #3 this week, so instead of words words words of my own, I’m bringing you some of my favorite YA fiction quotes on reading and writing. Had an A+ writing day yesterday after reading CUT BOTH WAYS by Carrie Mesrobian, and it reminded me how much easier it is to keep the words flowing when you’re on a steady diet of great books.
